2012 MotoGP at Phillip Island

We are off to the Australian round of the MotoGP. We fly out from Perth on Wednesday 24th October for four awesome days on the Island. Expectations are high for a fantastic event with Casey Stoner having his swan-song ride at the track where he has has so much success. Add to that the recent form of Ant West in Moto2, having a podium in the wet at Sepang. With damp conditions a distinct possibility Westy is in with a chance of another good result.

Thursday is media day with a packed schedule of events giving us media types the chance to get up close and personal with the stars. Kicking off the circus is a media conference with Casey Stoner including a presentation by Andrew Fox, Managing Director Linfox Property Group to Casey in his retirement year. Pictures and a report will be included in this blog on Thursday evening, along with all the other frivolity that takes place on Thursday.

Across the weekend I hope to include here some behind the scenes goings on that the "average punter" may not ever see. We'll see how I go as the weekend unfolds.

So for an inside peek at the goings on at the MotoGP from the "other side of the fence" stay tuned.
