flashpixx Supports Josh Waters in BSB
It is with great pleasure that we can announce that we are officially supporting Josh Waters in his tilt at the 2014 MCE British Superbike Championships.
Josh has joined the Tyco Suzuki team with new team mate John Hopkins. The Tyco Suzuki team is part of TAS Racing owned and managed by father and son team Hector and Philip Neill. TAS Racing has been part of British Superbikes for seven seasons and has enjoyed some success in that time. Most recently Australian Josh Brookes campaigned a Tas Racing/Tyco Suzuki to third in the 2013 Championship.
Waters' debut in British Superbikes in 2013 was not as good as he had hoped. With some bad luck and crashes his tenure at his first team Milwaukee Yamaha was cut short, with Waters finishing the year on a Halsal Racing Kawasaki. The final race of the final round saw Waters finish a very creditable 4th place on the Kawasaki.
With the backing of such an experienced and successful team, and back on the familiar GSX-R, the bike he won his Australian Championships on, Waters is rightly excited and quietly optimistic about his chances in BSB this year.
Planning is underway for flashpixx to join Josh and the Tyco Suzuki team in July for the Brands Hatch round. More on this as it gets closer. In the meantime we will be providing regular updates on Josh's exploits with Tyco Suzuki and BSB.
Next we will cover the recent test at Cartagena in Spain.
We would like to thank Tyco Suzuki and Paul Lindsay for the images and media.
